The Ladies of Charity are inspired by the mission of St. Vincent DePaul and St. Louise De Marillac. The purpose of the Association is to imitate the Divine Savior in serving the needy, the sick, the elderly, the youth and children, and bringing them corporal and spiritual nourishment. We strive to see Jesus in those we serve and imitate Jesus by instilling the three virtues of St. Vincent de Paul: Humility, Simplicity, and Charity.
We are a division of the Ladies of Charity of the Pittsburgh Diocese and each member is invested by the bishop at St. Paul Cathedral. Eligible members must be a female, 16 years of age or older, and must be a member of Mary, Mother of God Parish or a local parish that does not have a Ladies of Charity Organization.
